DID YOU KNOW: We've become so much a part of the scenery in Ystradfellte that we now feature in the guidebooks. Pub Walks in the Brecon Beacons National Park (Kestrel Publishing, 1992) has this entry: "The New Inn in Ystradfellte is pleasant and is_often_frequented_by caving_groups exploring the nearby cave systems: it serves Whitbread beer and good bar food." Perhaps we should ask to be put on a retainer!
