Pelobates No 57 represented half of the backlog of material I inherited when I took over as editor and dated back some 3-4 years. This edition comprises the other half and is hopefully a bit more recent. With a little luck, the next issue should be right up to date!

However, since my appeal in the last editorial, only a couple of articles have been received. I am confident that this is merely the 'lull before the storm' as everyone is busy preparing their contribution. Nevertheless. I think it would be prudent to reiterate my plea:
